Flag Lowering to Honor USMC Sgt. Hess
Gov. Inslee has directed that Washington State and United States flags at all state agency facilities be lowered on Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, to half-staff in memory of USMC Sgt. Jacob M. Hess, 22, of Spokane, who died Jan. 1 in Afghanistan of injuries sustained while supporting combat operations.
